Norwegian has announced four new European routes for 2027, adding flights to Santiago de Compostela and Manchester alongside two new services to Seville. The expansion, unveiled on 21 October, will give travellers in Norway and Denmark more nonstop options to Spain and the UK.

All four routes are scheduled to operate twice a week, but their seasons differ. Copenhagen–Santiago de Compostela will run during the peak summer period, while Billund–Manchester will operate from April until late October. The Seville services from Oslo and Copenhagen will run in spring and again from August, with a break in midsummer.

Santiago de Compostela from Copenhagen

Norwegian will fly between Copenhagen and Santiago de Compostela from 19 June to 18 August 2027. Departures are scheduled for Wednesdays and Saturdays, giving the Danish capital a new seasonal nonstop connection to the Spanish city.

The Santiago service fits between the two operating periods of Norwegian’s new Copenhagen–Seville route. For Copenhagen passengers, the announcement therefore adds two Spanish destinations to the 2027 programme, each with a different seasonal window.

Manchester from Billund

The new Billund–Manchester route begins on 1 April 2027 and continues until 28 October. Norwegian plans two weekly flights, on Thursdays and Sundays.

The service adds a direct UK connection from Billund, with a longer operating season than the Santiago route. Its Thursday-and-Sunday pattern gives passengers an option for weekend trips in either direction, although Norwegian has not published flight times in the announcement reviewed for this article.

Seville from Oslo and Copenhagen

Oslo–Seville launches on 20 March 2027, with Wednesday and Saturday flights. The first operating period ends on 16 June; flights resume on 18 August and continue until 30 October.

Copenhagen–Seville follows on 24 March. It uses the same Wednesday-and-Saturday pattern and ends its spring season on 16 June, before resuming from 18 August to 30 October.

Norwegian highlighted Seville’s Andalusian culture, architecture and food as attractions for travellers, with press spokesperson Catharina Solli welcoming the new direct connection from Oslo. The airline also said it would announce further new destinations later.

The published schedules give passengers the route dates and days of operation, but the announcement does not specify the aircraft assigned to these individual services.
